Shipping to the USA Is Back on Track!

Good news for my American UglyStuff fans! I’m shipping to the USA again!

After a frustrating break from shipping south of the border, I’ve finally found a way to get my handmade UglyStuff back into the hands of American collectors.

Changes to US import tariffs and shipping requirements made it increasingly difficult and expensive for me to send my artwork across the border.

Every piece of UglyStuff is sculpted by hand, by me. Between the time spent creating each piece, materials, packaging, shipping, and the new tariffs, the additional costs were becoming difficult to manage.

I eventually had to make the disappointing decision to stop shipping to the United States.

Thankfully, I’ve found a solution!

Chit Chats and Prepaid Tariffs

I’m now using Chit Chats for shipping to the USA, allowing me to handle tariffs in advance rather than leaving customers to deal with unexpected import charges when their packages arrive.

That means my American customers can once again order their favourite UglyStuff.

Here’s what’s changed:

• USA shipping is back! UglyStuff can once again make its way across the border.
• Prepaid tariffs: Applicable tariffs are taken care of before delivery.
• No unexpected tariff bills: Import charges are accounted for upfront.
• Same handmade UglyStuff: Every piece is still individually sculpted by me.

Getting UglyStuff Across the Border

Creating UglyStuff is the fun part. Figuring out international shipping regulations, tariffs, customs paperwork, and how to safely pack fragile artwork is considerably less exciting.

I’m an artist. I’d much rather spend my time sculpting than sorting through shipping regulations.

But I’m glad I’ve found a way to make it work again.
