I make and sell artwork myself, so I needed this app to be more than a spreadsheet.
When you leave artwork, crafts, or other products at several stores, cafés, galleries, markets, and events, keeping track of everything can become difficult very quickly.
Where did I leave that planter?
How many mugs are still at the café?
Did that keychain sell, or did I bring it home?
Which items are at the market this weekend?

Traditional inventory systems often feel like accounting programs. They begin with tables, numbers, codes, and forms. That may work well for someone with a business or accounting background, but many artists, makers, and small sellers do not naturally think that way.
I am a visual thinker. I remember the item when I see it.

ConsignTracker is not limited to traditional art consignment.
It can help you track almost anything you sell, wherever you sell it. That might be a gallery, gift shop, café, craft market, festival, pop-up shop, retail store, or another location.
You can photograph an item and use that picture as an important part of its record. Instead of trying to identify something from a row in a spreadsheet, you can see the actual painting, mug, planter, sculpture, keychain, shirt, collectible, or product.
You can record useful details about the item, connect it with the location where it is being sold, and update its status as things change.
The map helps you see where your products are located, which is especially useful when your inventory is spread across several shops or selling locations.
